This new 4 bedroom cottage is situated at the serene upmarket Rosslyn Lone Tree Estate on the Western suburbs of Nairobi with ample space and a secure fenced compound with mature gardens within a bigger residential compound.
The unit has a medium size living room, dining area, a bathtub, shower and a corridor with additional storage space.
We are approx 1 km off Limuru road opposite Runda Estate near Two Rivers and Rosslyn Riviera shopping malls.
The space
The cottage is situated within a fenced area a few meters away from the main house and next to an adjacent cottage and an older cottage within its own compound. They are within a six acre parcel of land with lush vegetation, mature trees and well tendered gardens.
The cottage has a living room, an open plan kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a bathtub, shower, sink and WC (48 sqm approx.).
There is also a laundry room with a sink which is secure enough to lock suitcases and other valuables in.
The unit is connected to a solar backed power backup system which ensures we have uninterrupted electricity supply. There is high speed Internet, cable & satellite and smart TV as well as adequate water storage.
Movie lovers and sports enthusiasts can pay for Dstv at their preferred package.
The green environment with big mature trees and gardens makes the place ideal for nature lovers. An avocado tree assures you of a good supply of fruits (when in sesson) and shade.
Monkeys, a variety of birds and other small animals are occasionally spotted at our property.
Guests can take a walk along our well lit estate road. It is safe to walk there during the day or in the cool evenings.
The place is ideal for a couple. UN, Embassy staff, business and other visitors find it quite convenient.
We warmly welcome you to enjoy the natural environment, peace and tranquility at our residence where singing birds wake you up.
Guest access
Guests have their own independent access to the guest houses. There is ample parking space.
The main gate to the property is shared.
Other things to note
Upon request and subject to availability of both units, the unit can be connected to the adjacent one-bedroom cottage via a lockable door, creating a two-bedroom space, with each room featuring a double bed.

Solar heating, mains electricity and use of the washing machine are charged based on a meter installed at the inside corridor at the rate of sh 150 per unit. This only applies to guests staying for 5 days or more. Guests pay for cooking gas based on the cost and the number of days it has been used. They also share the cost of water other than mains supply on prorata basis.
Our security normally comprises guard dogs as well as an estate emergency response team.
The dogs are friendly to guests once they are introduced to them and do not have to go to their space unless allowed to do so.
Guest dogs are only allowed at the cottage except for certain special cases allowed prior to a booking.
The security backup team is based at the estate road ready to offer necessary help when called to do so at any time of day or night.
The cottage is fitted with a burglar alarm system with two panic buttons. Guests are advised to arm it when leaving the premises and at night.
We have a secure lockable garage which is available for guests’ cars near the main house.
Guests can contact our caretaker for gate opening & closing or any other need. His contact will be provided upon arrival of the guest.
Guests staying for seven nights or more pay for electricity based on a meter reading at the utility provider rates and backup costs as well as water replenishment other than mains supply.
All the units have a smart tv. Dstv and Zuku tv are connected on request. Dstv rates depend on the guests’ preferred package.
